- How long will it take to build the pool?

Approximately 6 to 8 weeks. However, the process can be delayed occasionally due to weather, job and permitting. Holland Pools takes pride in getting the job done right and on time.
- How long have you been in business?

Holland Pools was started in 1995 by Mike and Gloria Holland. We have continued through the years to be a family owned and operated business.
- What are your hours of operation?

Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-4. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday so our employees can enjoy the weekend with their families.
- How do I get to your design center?

We are conveniently located in Altamonte Springs on 434 just West of I-4 at 1090 Kensington Park Dr.

There are many components of a swimming pool and backyard project. You will want to know the specific warranties for the components that you will want to include in your project. The warranties range from one year up to a lifetime warranty. Our design consultants are knowledgeable in what the different warranties are and would be glad to discuss the warranties on the various components necessary for a project like yours. - Are you competitively priced?

Yes. Holland Pools now builds over 500 pools yearly. We use this volume and our warehousing space to negotiate lower costs for all of our material. We, in turn, pass these great savings onto our clients. All pools are unique and each one has its own specific cost. Rest assured that when dealing with Holland Pools you will know that you will get the most for your dollar.
- How soon can you start?

The time between the signing of an agreement and the beginning of the actual construction process may vary. There are many activities that go on in the background during this time frame. A complete set of construction drawings are created by our Design Consultants. Those plans are submitted to your city or county building departments to obtain your building permit. Once your permit is approved, other factors including weather, soil conditions and possibly a third party's cooperation in providing accessibility to you backyard all play a part how quickly we can begin construction. Please feel free to ask any of our Design Consultants about information specific to you local area.
- Are there any restrictions in the city I live in?

- How do you get into my backyard?

Every yard needs to be inspected to determine the best access for our construction equipment and location of your new pool equipment. This inspection is crucial to insuring that the construction of your pools runs smoothly. We are licensed, insured and bonded for every phase of construction that is performed. A field supervisor is responsible for communicating with you, listening to you concerns and keeping you informed during the entire construction process.
- How do I care for my pool?

Weekly Maintenance:
- Sweep and remove debris from the surface of your pool.
- Test water chemistry. (listed below is an explanation)
Monthly Maintenance:
- Vacuum entire pool and brush pool walls and floor.
- Clean filter basket and pool tile.
- Check filtration equipment and clean if necessary.
General Maintenance Tips:
- Always test pH, Total Alkalinity and chlorine after any significant changes in environmental conditions (storms, high winds, swimmer loads, etc.) to ensure your pool water is in balance. Note: Rainwater will dilute the chemicals.
- Adjust water level routinely to account for evaporation.
- Always test water after adding water to pool.
- Visually monitor pool equipment routinely to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
